2023 Beach Plastic Art Contest

It’s time to turn trash into treasure! After you’ve participated in our 2023 Global Ocean Cleanup, get creative and construct a sea turtle from the trash you removed from the beach.

The beach is an important habitat for sea turtles. It’s where they start their journey as a hatchling and lay their eggs as adults. When beaches are covered in trash, it’s hard for turtle to do their thing. That’s why we are so happy to organize a beach cleanup this year during Sea Turtle Week.

We hope that by turning beach trash into turtles, you will inspire others to realize how pollution on the beach impacts sea turtles, as well as other animals.

We can’t wait to see what you create. No matter what, you’ve done great work by cleaning up the beach this year. Sea turtles everywhere will thank you!
